Raining Ice

Papa says,  “It’s raining ice!”  And it sort of is.  Although when Roya went out to get the mail, she came back quite wet.

It all started this morning, around 9:30…

By 10:30…

11:30…

12:30… changing to rain…

1:30…or maybe 2:30… it was sleeting…

Then it was snowing again… and then it got dark…

So we stayed in and cooked and baked…
Monster Cookies (thanks to Claudia and Annie for the dough) and squash-banana muffins (from Kailah’s leftover Thanksgiving squash).

Baked tofu; Gypsy Soup from the Moosewood Cookbook.

Then Papa totally beat me at Scrabble.
That’s 205 to 411

Way to document the weather! It’s nice to see pics of how the house and yard look in the snow.
Also, all that food looks delish. đŸ™‚
p.s., Once we’re both on break, I’d love to play a few friendly (competative) bouts of scrabble with you two, and Roya if she consents!
