First Night of Chanukah

So this evening it snowed for real; it took us 1 1/2 hours to drive home.  This is good snow, though, not like on the weekend, and it’ll help to cover up the ice.

We made latkes, both the fried-in-oil kind and the healthier lower-fat kind.

We lit candles and Roya got a present.
