Last Day of Summer

Bringing in the sheaves, or whatever….
 
This pillow-sized bag of hops represents hours and hours of labor, none of which I did.

Harvesting the sunflowers and coneflowers for their seeds.
I actually did dig up these onions.  I was planning to do some cooking.  More about the cooking later, at some point….

Meanwhile, Papa is still working on getting the house painted….if this makes you nervous, don’t look.  That’s my motto.
