Thanksgiving in Pictures

Here are the pecan loaves and the tempeh shepherd’s pie.  Andrea says she’d post the recipes if she were me, so I will probably do that over the weekend!  I also made green bean casserole, which was awesome, and Roya made apple crisp.  By my count, there were 15 other main and side dishes, and six other desserts…. plus appetizers!

Martha helped with the dishes.  Renee and Amber went outdoors.

Solomon, Dante, Annika, Roya, Papa and Renee watched the football game.

Jonah, Noah, Ben, Bill, Jules, Jeff and Owen played the football game.

Here are some people enjoying their food…. Jeff, me, Andrea and Ken, Dante, Solomon, Papa and Jules.

Below, the traditional activities: Bill has his annual debate with Martha, and the kids discuss playing Ghost in the Graveyard.  Owen lobbies Annika and Ben to go and play.  In the end, all of them donned their coats and went out to play in the cold and dark.

Leftovers in the refrigerator: no need to cook for a few days!!!

    Yay
It’s so great to see everyone & thing! I’ll post my pics soon, except I haven’t uploaded any of them yet.
    Food looks delicious. 🙂
I like how you so-rightly placed Bill & Martha’s debate under “annual customs,” since it so is. Also with the “kids” trying to remember how to play “Ghost in the Graveyard,” and debating about whether to play it at all, and ending up playing it again.
