Last of something, first of something

Last day of light at 5:00 p.m.  Last onions of any decent size.  Last of similar carrots.  (From here on in, it’s peeling teeny, deformed carrots and itsy bitsy onions.) The stir-fry is over-exposed, of course, but this is the LAST time I’m going to apologize for my crummy camera.

Oh, and first Scrabble game of the season, which I lost by a lot.  What’s the new saying, courtesy of our President?  I was shellacked?

We have so little light here, anyway, I dread the thought of losing any more. I vote for winter daylight savings time, where we turn the clocks ahead another hour.
