The new-old Chanukah gift

It’s the sixth night of Chanukah.
Please scroll down!  I don’t know why the  pictures showed up waaay at the bottom!

A needed some slippers, as his were all worn out.  We could have bought him some, but instead decided to use the handmade, felted wool, made-by-real-Kazakhs slippers K brought back from Kazakhstan in 2004.  We were "saving" them, but for what?  A museum?  So now he’s wearing them.  Pretty far out!!!

Aweseome!! I’m so glad he’s finally wearing them. I’d been afraid it had been a waste to buy them. I hope the slippers are comfortable! They’re beautiful, aren’t they?

    do they itch?
I like your time lapse Chanukah candle photography. (Your candle set-up looks a little like an alter. :D)

btw, I think your pics might be so far down the page b/c they’re too wide for the frame. THat happens to mine sometimes too. So either you can make the pics narrower or go into the LJ settings and make the frame wider. (usually I just drag the pics smaller b/c it’s easier.)

  4. Those slippers are RAD!
